My baby can sit

Nayeli can sit up now. On one hand it makes me happy because soon I will be able to put her in the bath with Olivia but on the other it makes me sad because she's my last baby and I want her to stay a baby forever.

The Honeymoon is Over

Yesterday Nayeli and Olivia were laying on the bed together being super cute and sweet when all the sudden Nayeli starts whaling. I asked Olivia what she did. She replied very innocently, "I bite her." I did really well and didn't kill her. She got a time out. I guess the sisterly abuse has started. All I can hope is that they aren't like me and my sister. I'm surprised both of us made it to adult hood the way we used to fight.

Today Nayeli was crying. Olivia gave Nayeli her favorite baby doll that she never shares with anyone. It was the sweetest thing ever. She is such a good big sister.

Olivia reads mommy's books to Nayeli. "Once upon a time lots of letters." Then she shows Nayeli the book. It is soooo cute!

Easter 2010

Olivia had so much fun this Easter.  It was the first time she actually understood what to do.  She got to hunt eggs three different times. 

Olivia's Little Sister

Olivia talks about her new little sister all the time even though I really don't think she realizes what's going on.  She come up and says "Hi, baby Nayeli.  I love you." And gives my tummy kisses.  It is so cute I can't wait to see how she reacts to her new little sister.   Hopefully the way she treats her baby dolls is no indication because I would hate to see her banging Nayeli's head up against the wall saying, "Ouch baby bonk head"  repeatedly.
